Where do I leave my UPS package? ›

With UPS Mail Innovations Returns, your customers can conveniently return their packages using their mailbox, postal carrier, local post office or any postal drop box nationwide.

You cannot drop off boxes for delivery through UPS Access Point at a Post Office, but you can arrange this directly with the UPS courier if that's more convenient than using a drop off point.

We offer customers the ability to drop off and pick up packages with ease at our UPS Access Point® location found inside of CVS. Customers can head over and pick up their deliveries whenever it's convenient for them.

The short answer is, UPS does not deliver directly to PO (Post Office) boxes. UPS, being a courier service, requires a physical address for deliveries. However, there's a workaround. UPS can ship to a physical address associated with the PO Box at the post office.

Drop your items at The UPS Store

You can also take your returns to The UPS Store. When selecting the method for returning your Amazon purchase, choose The UPS Store Dropoff. You don't need to have your items boxed or labeled. Instead, The UPS Store will pack, label and ship your return for free.

When this occurs, USPS steps in to handle the package and ensure its delivery. While there may be some differences in delivery times between UPS and USPS, rest assured that your package will still reach its destination.

There are a few limits on what you can and can't drop in the blue USPS collection mailboxes. For example, you can put any first-class or certified mail letter or card in these boxes. However, the first-class letter can't weigh more than 3.5 ounces. If you have a smaller package, you can put that in the box as well.

UPS Mail Innovations works with the U.S. Postal Service, providing the pick-up, processing and interim transportation of mail. Then, final delivery of your package is made by domestic and international postal services.

Alternatively, you or your customer can redirect any shipment to a UPS Access Point® before it arrives for delivery. If you're dropping off a package for delivery, the process is similar. Simply scan your label at the kiosk, the door will open, and you leave your package there to be picked up by the UPS driver.

How do packages get rerouted to CVS? After an attempt to deliver to your address, your UPS delivery person can choose to reroute your package. They will leave it in the care of a CVS location, and you'll be notified of the change. Then you can pick it up when it's convenient (within 7 days).

Change With UPS My Choice

Open your dashboard, select your package and choose "Change My Delivery".

You can request that your driver leaves your package on the next delivery attempt as long as your package doesn't require a signature from an adult 21+. Sign the delivery notice in the space provided and place it back where the driver originally left the notice.

Answer: If you're not home to sign for UPS, the driver will leave a notice of attempted delivery at your door. You can then either schedule a redelivery or pick up the package at a UPS location.
